Frequently asked questions

IP stresser and load testing FAQ.

Understand testing terms, permissions, and plan limits before your first run.

What can I test with RETROSTRESS?

You can run controlled tests against websites and infrastructure you own or have explicit permission to test. Complete the required ownership checks, choose a short duration, and observe your system with your existing monitoring.

Can I try it for free?

Check the current pricing page for the free plan and its limits. Create an account to explore the workspace.

What do IP stresser and IP booter mean?

People use stresser and booter inconsistently. The name does not establish permission. Authorized load testing requires the system owner's consent, an agreed scope, and monitoring throughout the test.

What should I check in a free IP stresser or free IP booter?

Check target permissions, test duration, concurrency, and available methods. The RETROSTRESS free plan has limits: review the current pricing catalog before testing systems you own or have permission to test.

Is DDoS for hire the same as authorized load testing?

No. Hiring someone to disrupt a third-party system without permission is an attack. Authorized load testing measures system behavior with the owner's permission and agreed limits. RETROSTRESS is intended for authorized testing.

How should I choose my test duration?

Start with a short test and review the impact before increasing its duration. Coordinate with anyone responsible for the system and stop if the test affects other users.

What is a chain?

A chain is a reusable sequence of network packets repeated during a test. You can configure steps and timing, then save the sequence for another authorized test.

How many tests can I run at once?

Your plan specifies your concurrent test limit. The test panel shows the slots currently in use.

How do cryptocurrency payments work?

Choose a plan and review the payment instructions. Use the asset, network, address, and amount shown in your checkout.

How do I sign in?

Use your account access key on the sign-in page. Keep it safe: it is how you access your account. Contact support if you need help.
